Chamäleon 514 Polyester Metal Putty (Germany) is a two-component elastic putty for finishing work on metal surfaces. It has increased durability among similar products on the market.
Purpose of heat-resistant putty
Filling cavities and indentations on metal surfaces in order to level and eliminate defects before applying powder paint. Designed for baking temperatures up to 220 °C.

Method of application of polyester putty on metal
The base should be clean, dry, and degreased. It should be sanded.
The working composition is obtained by mixing the filler and hardener. The amount of hardener is 1..2%. After application a drying stage is necessary.
At a drying temperature of 20 °C the next stage of sanding can be started after 20 minutes. At a drying temperature of 60 °C – after 10 minutes.
All sanding should be carried out only when the treated surface is dry, without water, do not wet the sandpaper.
