U-shaped door handles, mortise handles, recessed pull handles etc. differ from other industrial handles.
Handle features
Staple, or U-shaped door handles, or clip-on handles
Attachment method – on screws, on top of the worktop or on the backside. This means that holes are only made for such a product. Sometimes blanking plates are mounted on top of the screws to hide them.
Material. Hot-dip galvanised aluminium or steel. Reinforced GRP with increased rigidity properties.
Shape. The bottom surface of the handle can be plain or with holes for better grip.
Length. Centre distance from 100 to 500 mm.
Mortise snap-in handles
Attachment method. A mounting hole is cut out for the product itself. For installation have either a p-shaped spring or a movable part and special hooks for the latch. No fasteners are required for this type of mounting.
Material. Technoplastic.
Shape. Rectangular or bowl-shaped.
Areas of application
U-handles are mounted on electrical enclosures, drawers, freezers, warehouse doors and other constructions.
Recessed pull handles are used where a flat door surface is required without a protruding handle, e.g. on doors of generators and other equipment.
