The rail is mounted on the side centre edge on the inner glass and fastened with a screw. The lock is placed on the rail and pushed until it stops at the edge of the outer sliding glass. When the key is turned, the lock is removed from the rail by pushing in the opposite direction, and makes the windows to be moved.
